Ruben's shoes society visits first nations community Gwa'sala-'Nakwaxda'xw
We believe that all children deserve access to quality education and the opportunity to thrive. To be anything they want to be. To have the ability to dream and to think past limited beliefs and boundaries.
We believe in a world where poverty no longer exists and we believe we can get there by empowering and education the next generation of leaders who will make a stand (and currently are as we have seen)!
We see no barriers, whether they be geographical, race, religion, sex, financial status, or other and we are here to break down the walls of exclusion, so that we can all see each other as one. As one big loving tribe connected through the universal language of love.
It was an honour for our Founder Kelly and her dad Bruce to make a trip up to Port Hardy and spend time at the Gwa'sala-'Nakwaxda'xw Nations School with Principal Reed Allen and the students.
The children welcomed them with open arms and we were proud and grateful to be able to show them love and support through much needed shoes 💙
